There's something intimate about black and white photos I think - or maybe it's just that Brooke Baker (photographer wheretheheartis.nz@gmail.com) has done an awesome job of capturing a Mum and Dad's love for their baby.
I was thinking the other day how Selah won't remember much of this time. That may be a good thing (immunisations, wind, teething) but there's so many things we do for her that she won't remember consciously (us singing and playing with her, laughing in the mirror, cuddles). I know it's important for her development and well-being so I won't stop doing those things, but it might only be if she has a baby of her own that she'll know how much she is loved.
Ahhh, the revelation of love. The beauty of it's strength. The delight of it's fullness. The grace of it's Maker.
